Social Media & Partnership Manager


We are looking for a Social Media & Partnerships Manager to push JBW’s brand growth through impactful marketing initiatives. This role leads a team of 3 motivated individuals and reports directly to the founder. You must have a strong understanding of brand strategy and the art of crafting a concise, clear and compelling consumer message.

Social media & PARTNERSHIP MANAGER (JBW)

Grand Time is a family-run, independent business, which first entered the watch industry by selling leather bands in India over 60 years ago. Now run by the third generation of family members — Grand Time is made up of a tight knit team of individuals who run two in-house watch brands: JBW & BREDA.

We are looking for a Social Media & Partnerships Manager to push JBW’s brand growth through impactful marketing initiatives. This role leads a team of 3 motivated individuals and reports directly to the founder. You must have a strong understanding of brand strategy and the art of crafting a concise, clear and compelling consumer message.

The ideal candidate should bring previous experience and possess a successful track record with proven results in influencer partnerships and social media growth. This role will manage all brand partnerships, influencer campaigns, press outreach and execution of promotional events. From collection launch parties to pop-up events, you must be ready to think creatively about ways to get JBW exposure through new initiatives, resulting in increased customer traffic to the brand’s owned channels and ultimately fuel an increase in revenue.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communications Strategy:

  • Drive the strategy and execution of social media initiatives that will push the brand forward

  • Build and manage a high-performing social media team

  • Identifying and execute the communications strategy for the brand, including supporting the Creative Director and founder on developing potential story lines for new collections

  • Gatekeeper of brand messaging and owner of social channels

  • Track performance and deliver monthly reports to highlight most impactful placements

Social Media, PR and Brand Partnerships:

  • Create and manage influencer campaigns including influencer identification, activation, contract negotiations, product gifting, content approvals, and reporting on ROI

  • Develop and manage brand partnerships – contests, giveaways, events, etc.

  • Identify opportunities to build JBW brand awareness and drive sales through influencer, press, and consumer events

  • Manage social, influencer and events budget and optimize spend based on business goals and objectives

  • Manage all PR projects and handling all inbound inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field

  • Minimum of 3 years marketing/ social media/communications experience, preferably with influencer relations focus

  • Fluent in social media and the mechanics behind Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter

  • Creative thinker with strong analytic skills

  • Strong written communication skills, including copywriting

  • Intrinsically motivated, self-starter, and a leader

  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners and to influence at multiple levels of the organization
